After a very long journey, we finally arrived at Valmeinier. There is more snow than most of us have ever seen before, it covers all the buildings in a thick layer of white. We slept well and have had a good breakfast of bread, cereal, cheese, ham, salami and orange juice and hot chocolate. We have our skis, boots and helmets - a bit difficult to carry, but we will be professional soon!
We are going to visit Valmeinier this morning, and finally put our hands in the snow! Very excited, thinking of you.....but not too much.
